Dadipark was a big playground not far from Bellewaerde. Rather than attractions, the park consisted mainly of toys. Late 90s piled accidents within the park boundaries on and in 2000 reached its sad climax. A boy of nine years from Kortrijk lost his arm during a ride on the Jet Boat, an attraction where one person is lifted up is in a boat and a splash in the water. How this accident exactly happened is unknown. The most likely options are an unfortunate fall from the gondola of the 6-meter splash, or that the boy too far out his arms, then began to make the boat speed.

This dramatic event caused a major decline in the number of visitors to the amusement park. In 2003, it closed its doors for good. In 2012 the playground with the ground was leveled.
